Cleveland

Friday morning we left around 10. We went to the biscuit place, stopped at the Thorlo Sock Outlet in Statesville, NC, and then continued on to Cleveland. We arrived at Swenson's around 7pm, ate burgers, and then went to see the Matrix Reloaded, which was amazing.

This pretty much ends the road trip. I'll post the remaining pictures shortly.

North Carolina

After waking up around 9, we got ready and then drove south to the beach. I frolicked in the Gulf of Mexico for a few minutes, and then we headed out. We caught I-65 about 10 miles inside Alabama and took that to Montgomery, where we stopped for gas and lunch.

We continued on I-85 through Atlanta, where traffic was a mess but the HOV lane was moving fairly fast. We continued on through the rest of Georgia and South Carolina without incident.

As soon as we entered North Carolina, God began pissing on us. It rained torrentially for about half an hour and then slowly tapered off. We finally arrived at Fatty's around 10:30. We hung out for a little while and then went to bed.

This morning, we're going to eat breakfast at some biscuit place, drive to Cleveland, go to Swenson's, and then see The Matrix Reloaded. It will be awesome.

Pensacola

After sitting in traffic for an hour and a half at the Texas-Louisiana border due to construction, slowing down various other times through Lousiana, and waiting for half an hour in Baton Rouge rush hour traffic, we have finally arrived at our hotel in Pensacola. Although this drive was shorter than the one from LA to Austin, it was much more annoying. Lousiana has replaced New Mexico as the shittiest state due to its abundant construction.

We stopped just east of Mobile to get fried chicken, and now we're eating it and waiting for the Daily Show to start. I'm connected at a speedy 19.2 Kbps.

On Our Way

We're leaving Austin for Pensacola in about 10 minutes. We're planning on stopping briefly in New Orleans.

Austin

After a brief 2.5 hour nap, Warren woke me up to go to lunch with his attractive friend. The four of us ate at some sandwich place, where I had a meatball sub. After this, Sean and I drove Warren to the airport for his flight to Cleveland and then returned to his apartment.

We called Erin up and then headed over to his place. We hung out there for a few hours and then drove over to 6th Street where we had ice cream at Amy's and pizza at Rounders. We drove Erin back to his apartment after this, and then headed back to Warren's.

We watched a DVD that Sean bought in Berkeley about Shane MacGowen (of the Pogues). We're now matching The Matrix. I've uploaded all the photos since we arrived in Oakland. They should be finished resizing shortly.

Arrived

We arrived at Warren's apartment in Austin about 20 minutes ago. I still have not slept.
